Meet Some Rescued Youngsters Looking For Forever Homes!

ARI - Ari is a handsome six month old colt. After sustaining deep soft tissue injuries on the range he was rescued, removed and treated by the amazing vets at Comstock Equine Hospital. He has made a full recovery and has already had some basic training. He leads, picks up all four feet which have been trimmed, can trailer load, is easy to catch and even does a few ground obstacles! He gets daily turnout with another colt and an adult mustang and does great.

KENDRA - Kendra is stunning! Kendra and two colts from her band were illegally taken from the range as youngsters and held for at least a year. She’s now a two year old and currently stands about 14.1-14.2 H tall. She is smart and athletic, and although she had a hard time trusting at first she thrives at liberty work and has made some great breakthroughs. She has lots of “try” and work ethic. She now enjoys seeing the trainer and other people. She sensitive and wants to please and would do incredible things with a dedicated owner to be her person.

BRAVO - Bravo is one of the colts illegally taken from the range with Kendra. He is a beautiful two year old, palomino like his sire. Bravo is extremely smart and sensitive. In the last 30 days he has learned how to pick up all four feet, halter, be lead out of his pen, and basic ground work. Bravo would excel in a home where his athletic ability and eagerness to learn could be used.

WHC also has two more horses needing loving forever homes. Saint is an older domestic boy, neglected and turned loose on the range. He’s happy to have a safe landing and good meals in his belly. Saint would be a good companion horse. He is not rideable due to his arthritis which needs monitoring to make sure he stays comfortable, but he likes to talk, is happy to see you, and would be a great equine friend. Lucky Star is a beautiful three year old who was born on the range with one hoof that needs corrective trims. Per vet assessment, due to the hoof, she would not make a good riding horse, but she is so charming she is just a delight to be around.
