Meet LBL’s Adoptable horses!

First up is Carson! Carson spent time at Team Yriarte Horsemanship and they had nothing but glowing remarks about him! Here’s what they said:

“he is an absolute joy to have around and so easy to get along with. He is not started riding yet as his body is not quite mature enough, but he has worn a saddle (and Brittany!) With no problem!”

Carson is about 3 1/2 to 4 years old and has the cutest little appy spots on his hips and the most gorgeous floating trot! He will likely require a more petite rider and would excel at endurance or dressage with the right guidance

Hanna

If you are looking for a taller horse, Hanna is the one for you! She is estimated to be about 19 years old and is a Hanoverian standing approximately 16.2 hands. Hanna is halter trained, easy to catch, and has good manners while on the lead. She stands for the farrier, loves attention, and getting brushed. She is green-broke and will need some additional training, but will make the best riding partner!

Luke

Luke is looking for his forever home! Luke is an Arabian gelding and is estimated at about 10 years old, and stands at approximately 15 hands. He is halter broke, easy to catch, stands for the farrier, and just wants to be loved on! Luke will be a project horse as he is broke to ride, but his previous training was minimal. He will need an advanced rider who is willing to take the time to work with him! This guy has huge potential!

WHPL’s incredible work in the Pinenut HMA

Wild Horse Preservation League continues to administer the birth control treatments in the Pinenut HMA. Weekly darters, scouts, and photographers are in the field darting and taking ID photos of the horses. In addition, volunteers and AWHC staff are checking the locations and health of  springs in the area, so a workday may be scheduled! Stay tuned!
