October Fertility Control Program Update

Welcome two New darters!

The AWHC would like to welcome and introduce its two newest darters for the Virginia Range wild horse fertility control program … Tim “Mook” and Marta McDowell! They recently drove to Billings, Montana to attend the three-day certification course and are ready to get started! They will be covering the Fernley, Silver Springs, and USA Parkway areas. We are so excited to welcome them to our AWHC family and know you are happy to welcome them as well.

AWHC darters continue to treat mares with their annual boosters and provide primers for the young fillies. The scale of this program continues to break records impress everyone! What an amazing group of people who are so dedicated to keeping these wild horses home in their habitat by humanely managing them in the wild. Greatest team ever!
