Congratulations Tamara gerdts!

AWHC started the fertility control program in 2015. It was halted in 2017, then restarted in 2019. There are a handful of darters who have been with the program since that very beginning. One of those recently hit a milestone of 1,000 dartings over the entire time span! That accomplishment shows the dedication and determination of these hard working volunteers. And the countless hours of driving and walking the range, tracking down bands, identifying horses, documenting horse families, and of course administering the fertility control in all kinds of weather. And the time spent pays dividends in friendships made with fellow wild horse/range warriors. Thank you Tamara for all of your hard work!
